mom day

mother's day was spent at an austrian restaurant masquerading as a german restaurant buffet.
i am not a fan of goulash- but i do like zucchini bread..

bastian's dad flew in that night-
its been interesting being able to understand about 56% of what he is saying...
but i am unable to actually form sentences to talk to him.
for all i know, he probably thinks i am a mute. :(

plus he uses alot of weird german slang terms...
for example, instead of saying "i am hungry"
he says "boiled cabbage!"

slang is weird.
