is whistling supposed to represent the wind?..... of change?

when i was a little kid i would obsessively record the radio onto cassette tapes. if i started recording a song i didnt like then i would rewind the tape and get poised to record the next song- hoping it would be something i could add to my mixtape. i would do this constantly- i remember one song i was obsessed with during elementary school was that proclaimers song "i would walk 500 miles...".
well today i heard another song that was soooooo elusive to my recording that it was like the holy grail of mixtape songs- dude it was the Scorpions "wind of change"- the radio rarely played it- and when they did i always seemed to be in the car or at gallery furniture or something.
ok so i hear it today at work- and the memories come rushing back....
but now i'm really wondering what the fuck i was thinking back then hahaha.
its probably the cheesiest ballad song of all time- which i can firmly attest to it having that title based solely on the whistling involved in the song.

one day i really hope to find a cassette tape that is still a mixtape from elementary. i think i used them all up during 7th grade when i would literally set an alarm to go off every thursday night at 9pm to remind myself to start taping the 91.7 KTRU punk and ska radio show. i know for a fact that i still have some tapes of those radio shows.... and the mixtapes that came from those tapes also.

its interesting what i had to do to get music back in those days- the pre-internet age of music.
back when punk records were either ordered through mailorder distros, MRR, or bought at local shows. if you wanted punk records... you had to work for it. now you can either go straight to hot topic, or just purchase music from itunes.

ok so bastian's argument is to just buy a civic instead of a fit because the gas mileage is the same... but why would i buy a civic if its way more money? he also says to get a hyundai because they are cheaper and "bigger" in the interior. ....but the hyundai has less mpg mileage, less resale value, and is somewhat funny looking.
i think this whole hyundai vs. honda thing is going to come down to test drives.
(the hyundai is like 3k less- but the honda has more things included than hyundai- plus the resale value is better- and honda's last a long time. oh and it looks cute)
srsly anyone have an opinion to give me?! oh and p.s. i refuse to buy a mazda or a nissan. just sayin.
