my boss called me upstairs to have my annual "performance review."
for some reason, i was really really nervous.
i kept making eye contact for uncomfortably long periods of time- wtf?
i am such a fumbling mess when it comes to social situations-
anyway- my boss basically gave me a promotion- i am now completely responsible for our company website- ecommerce and all- plus a salary increase!
(about $2.00/hr raise)
that's two raises since october 2007.
how awesome is that??!

i found this book called listology: your life in lists
and they have this online list maker inspired by their book
the website is http://listography.com/
i like their topic generator for lists.
right now im writing a list of "things i want my children to know"
so far i have:
- nobody is perfect.
- choose your battles.
- do not smoke cigarettes!
- spend as much time with family while youre young.
- never move somewhere for a significant other (unless youre married or over the age of 25)
- tell people the truth instead of hiding it. trust is a lot more important than you might think it...
- get plenty of sleep.
- if you want something done right, do it yourself.
- keep a journal.
- DONT GET CREDIT CARDS!
-----
i dont think i have mentioned this yet but i setup an etsy shop
featuring a few photographs- if i sell any then i'll keep it up.\
the shop is: http://tideturns.etsy.com
