i signed up for fantasy baseball- two different teams (one through crawishboxes.com and the other was one i did with randos on yahoo)
the one and only time i have ever signed up for a fantasy team was for football season in 2002- and i basically picked almost all viking players- and i ended up winning the championship in my league. (beginner's luck?)
well, considering my immense success with players that i knew very well- i formed my fantasy baseball team out of mostly astros or ex-astros... and a red sox players. for irony- i picked both mike lamb as a utility and luke scott as an OF... I am still fairly positive that Luke will do well this year in baltimore as a starting player. I would go as far to say he'll rival tejada in HRS and .OPS.
oh and you people thought that I was weird?
look at what someone else made for luke:
more ex-astros news:
"Troy Patton is projected as the Orioles' fourth starter (on orioles.com) and sixth on CBS Sportsline. Luke Scott is penciled in as the starting left fielder and Aubrey Huff (remember him?) is slated to be the DH. Chris Burke is still a Super Sub in Arizona (at least right now) and Juan Gutierrez will have a hard time cracking that rotation or bullpen in spring training". source
