coasting

man this week has gone by rather quickly.
this weekend- was basically a shopping extravaganza
two pairs of new shoes- one of which i wore on tuesday and nearly killed my feet with the amount of pain
michelle and i ventured to the crowded galleria after lunch with her mom at red robin.
i got my burberry watch resized for my wrist- and while in the burberry store michelle spotted chelsea clinton.
she is way prettier in person- and we didnt even see any securtiy detail or anything. weird.

i spent a crapload of money at sephora on beauty stuff-
and at the time i felt a pain in my stomach from buyers remorse-
who spends 135 bucks on makeup in one go?
(especially me of all people who up until this week... rarely even wears makeup)
but now that ive had a while to test out the wares-
and i have had time to review my account balance-
id say last weekend's splurge is no longer regrettable.


so everything is a go on europe in october (so far)
about the car buying- i am still patiently waiting for a copy of the title to my car to show up..
meanwhile, moving has been pushed back until bastian's greencard is approved...


i finally heard from my friend victoria- who practically disappeared into thin air in october 07.
without getting into specifics- she is out of state and still in the recovering process.
she said she will be back for a visit sometime in april but will not be ready to return to living in houston for a bit.
i am BEYOND ecstatic that i know her status- i was so worried about her all of these months.
part of the reason why i rarely socialize anymore is due to victoria being gone.
the only way i could be coaxed to go out to bars and such is if victoria would be there.
