skewed perceptions

oh and im sure everyone has seen the garfield comics without garfield-
and genuinely think they are my new favorite blog on the internet.
my reason? i gravitate towards art that is so simplistic and bordeline obvious-
this instance is in the same catergory because it is one simple change-
and the entire context is skewed enough to warp my mind.
the changing of perspective! love it.



ok, so bastian likes to eat ostrich-
and he found out ziggy's serves ostrich burgers.
we went there last night for the first time-
and he ended up getting the buffalo burger instead.
ok so all of this sounds so weird to me-
i am not a burger person at all but i got one too anyhow
cause eating buffalo sounds ridiculously adventurous to me..
well it ended up being delicious to the maximum.
(with feta cheese, cause i love that stuff)
i even liked the paintings for sale on the walls-
some of which were aerial perspectives of square dancers and of a boxing match.
i even saw one that i would so buy if i were rich and felt like spending money on a painting.
anyway- ziggy's is awesome!


this weekend will be tame compared to next week
monday is JEN's 21st birthday! and then tuesday I have 4 tickets to the rodeo- yeehaw!


p.s. a metal portion of my purse became unscrewed and the strap is loose. :(
now i need to go purse shopping this weekend. R.I.P. Chanel purse.
