did a mini-shoot and came to the conclusion that i need something more than random props
to spark something.

i also need help writing an artists statement.
sometimes i can come up with context- but then it flutters into the air never to return.
i need to write down these things. otherwise, i draw a blank. (i.e. gallery opening with everyone listening)
i dont really have faith in my photographic ability anymore.
then again, i am using a point and shoot camera.
all of the new stuff will be small format- 5x7 or less.

I always find artist statements really hard to write...like I would rather someone else who knows my work to write it!
